- An observer, activist-scholar, and image-maker, I am interested in exploring how multiple perspectives and meanings are represented through image and text. Informed by historical events, literature, personal memory, fantasy and mythology, my work explores how culture, place and identity intersect to imagine a new account or re-envisioning of events. I use a wide range of media to accomplish this interrogation of how we construct historical narratives and seek to raise questions that challenge long held assumptions about cultural experience, truth and memory.
